Job: Senior Environmental Consultant - Infrastructure/Construction/Mining (10410)

With a focus on NSW, QLD and Vic, our client is a specialist environmental management consultancy that provides expert environmental management services to the construction and infrastructure industries. With an increasing requirement on developers and construction companies to manage their environmental impact, we are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant for an immediate start.

Reporting to the Principal consultant here in Melbourne, you will be responsible for:

• Client Liason
• People and Project Management
• The preparation of EMPs and sub plans
• Liaising, coordinating and overseeing the work of external consultants
• Approvals and compliance associated with large infrastructure projects
• Producing and preparing proposals
• Report writing and project administration
• Implementing management systems to ISO standards including 9001, 18001 and 14001
• Marketing, including development of bids and tenders

To be considered for this role you will need to have significant experience in environmental consulting and project experience within the infrastructure/construction sectors. In addition to this you will need:

• 5-10 years minimum industry experience
• An ability to work autonomously and as part of a group or team
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A commitment to environmental management and a genuine enthusiasm for your work
