Job: Senior Environmental Consultant - Land Contamination (10425)

Our client is a boutique Environmental Consultancy situated in a bright modern office in the inner eastern suburbs. Due to sustained growth and continued repeat business they are looking to place a long term Senior Environmental Consultant to support their close knit team.

Reporting to the Director, this role will focus on delivering high quality projects and maintaining excellent customer-service standards. To do this, you will be required to:

• Liaise extensively and personally with clients
• Provide sound technical advice
• Manage a team of junior and mid-level technical staff
• Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors
• Independently write reports to a high standard
• Manage and meet tight deadlines

To be considered for this role you will have:

A relevant degree in science or engineering

• Minimum 8 years experience in Environmental consultancy
• A high level of investigative intelligence & sound technical skills
• Experience managing your own client base
• Significant experience managing junior technical staff
• Project management experience including sub-contractor management skills
• A high level of report writing skills (this is essential)
• Proven work history across a variety of environmental projects (i.e. not just petrochem/hydrocarbon)
